If you are still getting amp lights, your fusebox is the prime suspect.

What I did was to drill out the rivets, clean all the laminations and
solder them together and put 6-32 machine screws and nuts in place of the
rivets to hold the whole thing together.

Make sure the connectors are all clean and tight.
