This site is priceless to a man with an uncontrollable Volvo problem

First one was a brand new 1981 242T. I'm on my 4th Volvo since then. People look at me and wonder why I drive them for so long. They grow on you very quickly. Almost like children. My second one a 744T gave it's life protecting me from a drunk driver in 1987. The third a 1987 745T with 342K miles on it is my daily driver and will continue for many years to come hopefully. My garage queen a 97 960 I picked up last year with 66K miles on her. So I'm pretty well set for not needing another car until 2015 or better.
What other brand out there causes this kind of affection between the owner and the car?
