240 Overheating

it is probably the wiring. If it was the thermostat stuck closed it would boil at any speed. 240s rarely overheat, so there probably is just something wrong with the gauge. You'd know if it was overheating.

Sometimes the gauge will read high if your system voltage is high from overcharging.
