Do you have and use a/c?

Possibility that the air box has a lot of condensation in it?

To remove undesirable air from my 240s I have done this. Driving at 40mph or more, open both the right side windows half way down (power windows helps) and close all the others. This sets up a rotating flow that really moves the air out. Leave the blower fan on #1 or #0.

Great when there is an undesitrable insect flying about the cabin.
