For Brickboard posterity I want to report that the aftermarket unit I got from Lamps and Lenses in New Jersey had the ball-joint fittings already installed, and the little rubber T-vent at the bottom already. It is very well made (Italy I was told) and super reasonable.

My car is pretty far from my computer so there's a little lag in my posts! Sorry and the part number is great info to have up here anyway. The dealer found it instantly.
