The 007 amm's really are pretty robust. There are some other things I would check.
Harness connection at the amm for proper spring tension and corrosion, the connection at the ecu for the same thing( sometimes they will spring a leak and drip on top, and corrode the connections), ecu ground connections at the intake manifold, hall sensor connection at the dizzy. And last, but certainly not least, check the fuel injection system relay ( aka fuel pump relay) to see if it is full of water, has good connections and solder traces etc, and check the 25 amp fuel injection system fuse in the engine compartmant for corrosion.
