most people are not going to install the cam, take measurements, uninstall the cam, add silencers, and then reinstall the cam again.

in fact, i have tried it the way you suggest and found that: before new silencers my measurements were in the 14 to 15 thou. range.

after new silencers, 13 to 14 thou. range.

when i did the vx (the enem too) and new silencers, it definitely needed to be shimmed.

i understand your base circle point of view, but what about the additional lift?
