twitching temp gauge 700

The sensor in the radiator is for the aux. fan. (not the problem)

There are two temperature sensors on the engine, underneath the intake manifold. One is for the fuel injection, the other is for the gauge. I believe the front one is the one for the gauge. It has a standard wiring harness connector. (the rear one has a blue fuel injector type connector) Make sure the contacts are clean and tight. If you can find the specs, check it with an ohm meter at various temperatures.
