Poly TAB installation 200 1988

First, poly bushings go inside the old shell. So you don't need to press out the big axle bushings unless you really want to, to make removal of the rubber easier. Apparently you can just heat the shell of the bushing with a propane torch to loosen the bond of the rubber and then knock it out. Haven't done it myself yet. But I have pressed out a bushing with a homemade version of the Volvo tool

This is the drivers side bushing. Tapered edge goes towards the wheel, so press it out towards the differential.
