Odd problem 200 1984

Since I replaced the engine harness April 05 I was sure it wasn't a rotten wire (true) and thought that a wire had come disconnected. It hadn't. The battery was down to 12V and when I started the engine (without anything else on) it went down to 11.5V. The alternator is dead. You saved me from a dead battery and a tow. You're a Hero.
