Need Help Thread Chasing Front Calipers 200

Hi Al,

Those aren't taper threads, are metric on the 240, and I don't have a bottoming tap either; so I found a steel line nut from the junquebox (they're not all brass) and cut some flutes just for a thread cleaner. The seal is all done at the bottom of the hole, so don't nick that with a tap unless you're prepared to restore the mating surface for the bubble flare.

I assume you have the whole thing in solvent on a bench, or I'd gang up with Chair and suggest the replacement. Truth is, it is little better than a crap shoot finding a decent rebuilt unit given the economics of the business.
