Randy,

All 740 and 940 Cam or ZF racks from 83-95 are interchangeable. Koyo racks, which I've never incountered but I assume were used in some later models, do not interchange with ZF or Cam equipted 740/940. So if your 940 has a Cam or a ZF rack and the 740 donor has a Cam or ZF you can do the swap.
