I can not get the wife's 93, 244 auto tranny out of park. The brake thing will not release it, the manual override will not release it without fooling with it a long time. Ok I hope the 700's and 240 are close. FAQ 700 says it is more than likely the microswitch. The button will not depress to release the lever. Tried the manual switch and finally got it to pop out of park. Now after getting it home I put it back in park and guess what, yea it is stuck again. Is there a micro switch in a 93 244? I know the neutral safety switch is in there and the backup switch but a micro switch? Any ideas? Thanks..Max :>)
