But in my experience the problem is really that there is a layer of foam between the fabric and the roof and that foam just turns to dust over the years. So there really isn't anything solid to glue the fabric to. I have had fair luck using upholstery pins (sort of corkscrew pins sold in fabric stores) to hold up the sagging spots. They really are not very noticable unless you are looking for them.
