As an exercise in engineering speculation, by all means, but why else? A 122 wagon does have a nice body, but making a sows ear from a silk purse seems more trouble than it's worth.

If you absolutely HAVE to go against the stream, investigate running a B-18/20 on alcohol. Cleaner, more "ooomph' and just as "alternative " as the biodiesel. Look at www.dogwoodenergy.com for more info.

BTW Volvo Cars has always been a pioneer in the alternative fuels arena, dating back to WW2. Google "gen-gas+Volvo" or some similar combination, for really cool looking photos of methane burning Volvos, aka "gen-gas".

"I wish we had political leaders who could say "WE can walk, can YOU eat sand,...?"!!!.
