A couple of days ago the car stalled twice in quick succession, then again after a few more minutes. Each time it restarted easily. This was looking more and more like the Radio Interference Suppression Relay. I pulled it out and popped it open---sure enough, bad solder joints. The stalling went away with installation of the resoldered relay, but the hesitation was still there when opening the throttle after coasting with foot off the gas. Today I changed the cap and rotor, and put in a new set of NGKs to replace the Bosch Coppers (made in India CRAP) that had been in there for about 15K miles. It runs perfectly now---no hesitation or miss, and much smoother than before. The only weird thing is why did the tach go crazy, which it only did once?
