A Bit Wobbly... 120-130 1967

Hello George:

Here is a link to an image of the defective unit from FCP Groton:

It looked to me like the rubber cap was the worn part but obviously the stress is carried within, hence my question about what else I need to replace. FCP Groton labels this as a "tie rod - outer right" but mine has a castle nut and split-pin and these seem to have those nylon lock washers - not my preference. Will my castle nut and split pin work on these, do I need to drill a hole for the pin, or do I need to shop elsewhere?
