To keep on the safe side

I will never use anything but 303 Protectant on the delicate and lifesaving rubber seals on the drysuit I wear when kayaking in the wintery cold North Atlantic waters -- as per the manufacturer's advice. 303 is simply a great rubber protectant. On my cars' door seals I use silicon oil, simply because that's what I have always done.

WD40 is very good, but for rubber there are better products.
