You've probably got the two sets of splines on the unidirectional clutch and the planetary gear carrier misaligned. Shine a torch down and you'll see. You can move the splines on the unidirectional cluch, but only in one direction owing to it being unidirectional, odd that.

Also make sure you twist the mainshaft so the oil pump driver goes easily past the oil pump actuator.
