Brake question S90-V90

I had to take the emergency brakes off my 740 to do some axle bearing work. The only adjustment is the nut in the "console" that controls the cable tension. The nut is counterintuitive. I ended up tightening the tension instead of loosening it. You can tell by the number of click on the handle as you move it up.

You may be able to get the spring that holds the shoe back on using a vise grips, but some type of hook-pick on the coiled part of the spring works best.

Why do you think your Emergency brake is not right?
