Yes, I have taken the IAC apart and cleaned it a few times now and a few years ago. After I took the IAC apart and cleaned it now, the engine would not idle but die. Then, I took the IAC apart again, cleaned and lubricated it carefully and the engine idles at 2000 rpm. So I suspect the IAC. I could not find one locally, so I will have to order one from FCPGroton. Still, I would like to be sure the IAC is faulty before I send for one.
