I picked up a small one from Pep Boys for about $70. Sometimes you can get it for $60. It came with a CD of all the codes for most vehicles. It reads the codes and resets. Of course you need to fix the problem or the code(s) return immediately. Also, the "readiness monitors" will be reset. This can be a problem if you then wish to have the vehicle go through DMV inspection. There is a procedure for driving to have them recalibrate themselves somewhere back in past posts. It is the:Actron CP9125 PocketScan Diagnostic Code Reader for OBDII....actually I just Googled it and found it on Amazon for $52 delivered.
Worth every penny and that is the best price I have seen for it.
