No start but get horn & lights - security system S90-V90

The system will relock is

(1) It is unlocked with one push, and no door is opened for 30 seconds.
(2) It is unlocked with two pushed, and no door is opened in 2 minutes.

At least my 1997 965 does that, just like the Onwer's Manual says (always a surprise). Did you possibly fulfill (1) or (2) before letting the car sit a long while?
