Thats kind of a pipe dream of mine for when gasoline goes over $5/gallon. Haven't really gotten serious about it.

But when the Volvo is finally ready to just be an Sunday driver it would be great not to be using gasoline.

Has anyone seen the Chevy Volt prototype? Finally an alternative that doesn't look like you should be wearing a sweater vest and a jacket with patches on the elbows. Love the reasons for having a hybrid and I see one in our future but has there been some mandate till now that they have to be fugly?

Suggest you start engineering this conversion, Tom. It'll keep you far from trouble for a quite a while.
