Anyway, i am not saying this was done, but I
have heard of people who have disconnected the
speedo cable in order to preserve the milage
on their vehicles.

With all due repect to the guy at Hemmings that checked
the car out; the engine shows too much wear to have only
80 miles on it. Did the numbers all match?
