hey, thanks for the suggestion. I've used a meter on the harness and know that I am getting power to the unit and the ground is good, but I have not done any other tests on the connector.
Also, I did the tests in the Bentley manual on the Hall sender plug and have power and there is also spark showing whenever i tap between the B and C terminals on the plug. however, I have not done this while the car is cranking over, but just in the "on" position.
I'll have to do these checks while someone else cranks it over to see if there is any difference.
