where is the temp sensor on the engine that sends the signal to the instruments?? 700

There are three sensors under the intake manifold near cylinders 2/3. The front sensor is the temperature gauge sensor. The middle one is the knock sensor; the rear one is the engine coolant tempr sensor for the ECU computer. You want to test the connections to the front one. Know that the plastic connectors can embrittle in the heat and become fragile: new ones may be had from the dealer.
