Well thanx for the advice, ill be heading back to the store to pick up the seal today, and will try to pick up a gear puller, or some other puller that looks like it will do the job. as i was thinking about doing it last night i had the bright idea of using the yoke to clamp onto a bar that i could then use my legs to push it off of the output shaft, but that shows how i go about things a little. Just between you and me, i still secretly want to hit the whole thing with a hammer, just a little. Thanx all for the advice, i should be, barring any unforseen problems, be setting about this project wednesday, and will be posting what i figure out.
