As a matter of fact the joke is that when IT help comes on the phone, no matter what your problem is, well the conversation goes something like this:

Hello ____ Laptop support what can we help you with today?

My laptop screen has come detached from the rest of the computer and now has a large crack down the middle, can you send someone over to fix it?

They reply in that monotone voice, well lets try a couple of things first, have you turned your computer off and turned it back on? And when you do does that make any difference?

You can insert an accent from a large populated far eastern country to make it sound more realistic.
