I went out to retrieve the codes after reading the OBD FAQs...

Just for the heck of it, I cranked the car over and it STARTED - it DOES sound like it is flooded though, rough idle, sort of shakes and sounds almost like a lawn mower - putt - putt - putt- putt- In rapid succession
like a carbuerated car with a stuck float would eh ?

This is really whacked............

The temp is 40 degrees and the car sat overnight until about 7 minutes ago.....

I am thinking the coolant temp sensor is toasted, I guess a bad ECt would cause a flood condition ? Right ?

If a higher resistance produces more gas then an open would pour gas into the system and cause it to flood out - correct ? As temp increases, the resitance becomes less and lenas out the mixture ? Am I on the right track here ?

Thanks for ALL of your help so far - if you think the ECT is shanked please post back and I will go get a new one tomorrow.

The 240 is alive and kicking too ! In the meantime, I will read more on the OBD and get a better understanding of the diagnostics........

Anyone know of a good shrink ? I think I may need one soon.
