The value of Bilsteins is going to be dependent on how hard and/or how much you plan on driving the car. I drive my '66 over 500 miles a week from WV to the DC metropolitan area. The Bilsteins transformed the ride entirely. The car now handles all the bumps and dips you can throw at it smoothly and securely. The shocks were worth every penny spent in my case - very, very satisfied. They have been on the car for over two years now so cost is getting close to $10 a month - cheap thrills at that price :-)
The mounting bushings/hardware is still available from IPD. I got my front bar from a 122 that was long since demoloshed without hardware. IPD was kind enough to sell the needed front mounting hardware and bushings even though I hadn't bought the bar from them.
