Strut Removal tips and tricks, please

Really, it is not that tough to do.

Take the wheel off
Remove the brake caliper and mount bracket, 2 10mm hex bolts
Hang the caliper out of the way
Remove the nut for the tie rod, reinstall it on the end by just a few threads
Hit the steering knuckle where the tie rod goes through with a big hammer
Don't hit it like a girl either, I mean really smack it
Remove the top nut and bushings on the sway bar
Loosen the nut and bolt at the rear of the strut rod so everything can pivot
Take off the two nuts on the top at the strut tower
Push the whole thing down and out of the wheel well
Compress the spring
Take off the big nut on the strut piston rod and remove the plates and bearing
Stack this stuff neatly so you do not get it out of order when you go back
Lift off the compressed spring
Undo the big ass body nut and remove the cartridge
Assembly is a straightforward reversal of the above procedure, pretty much.
