Is my oil level low enough that I should add more oil?

My oldtimers tend to use it faster when all the way full so I usually don't
add when it is halfway down unless I am going on a trip or some such.
Most of the oldtimers will keep good oil pressure with only about a quart
and a half in the system so if you are not driving it hard enough to heat
the oil and you aren't seeing the yellow light come on you are probably fine.
