Points melting 120-130

If installing on a stock, points style ignition system, a 0.8 ohm ballast resistor or resistor wiring MUST be installed.

Interesting that they would suggest that. Of course that would protect the points, but it would also lower voltage through the coil primary and therefore the coil output, no? Wouldn't that negate the whole purpose of having a Blaster 2 coil in the first place, even if you did have an engine that needed one?
