how to remove rear cam seal?

Greetings,

You should have no problem if you put #4 cylinder at TDC with it's cam lobes pointing up, there really should be little or no spring pressure on that end of the cam.

I have installed quite a number of these seals this way and have yet to have a problem. Haynes has a valid point, but IMHO it would only apply at any other cam position than TDC on #4 compression stroke.

You will need to use a sealant on the bearing cap/head joint when you install the bearing cap.
Good luck, rcs
