Valve Problem 700

Well, I have lots of oil burning. There seems to be a rattle almost like coins jingling in your pocket near the back of the engine. I also get 8 miles to the gallon and i have changed everything from AMM, O2 Sensor, engine temp sensor, FPR, to cleaning the throttle bottle and pvc valves. I have also got a new dizzy and rotor, as well as new plugs, wires, coil, and changed every vac line in the car. I burn lots of oil, the car when started cold will blow some blue smoke. I really checked eveything for my bad acceleration, vaccum problem (10 inHg at idle), and bad gas millage problem and now im looking at the head. The car is a 91 740t
