OK. 1997 S90 - Put on 4 Continental CH95s in 2003. It's now 30,000 miles later and one tire has been diagnosed as "out of round". Putting it on the back made the vibes less noticeable. So, the question is, do I replace just one? All the tires have good tread, maybe another 5-10,000 miles (or two years') worth. Is one "bad" tire a good indicator of other potentially bad tires?
There used to be a time for me when I wouldn't hesitate to just go to TireRack and order a nice set of 4 well-reviewed tires. But now with house payments, the car has to be triaged.
Would this car be OK with a T-rated tire instead of H? I sometimes get it up to 70-75 mph if I don't keep a sharp eye on the speedo in 65 zones. But usually it's "never met a speed limit I didn't like" - that's my driving style.
What say you all?
