I also have used the Pertronix in two 140 daily drivers for over 10 years.
They have been very reliable. Nice to not have to deal with points anymore.

They are trickier to install on a 122 or 544 due to the armored cable to the coil, but I think IPD has a kit to get around that.

Since a 140 does not have the armored cable, the installation is a snap.
