Compensator Board bypass question

Thanks for your response. I was confused because I had read a post once where the idea was to split the wire at the ends where the pins are and then use the board to hold the wire onto the pins... no soldering. It only makes sense to get rid of it! Thanks again and I humbly ask forgivness on being so thick headed!
