JohnMc the front frame spars I was well aware of but the drive shaft tunnel and rear spring perch are news to me.
Mr. Dewolfe I agree with your Rules Of Acquisition except for the title I live in New hampshire where you can easily register anything over 15 years old without a title they won't even ask to see a bill of sale most times. My intended use would be either get it running good enough to just drive around town or a parts car for the Duett (if I ever find one). And just like you I'm a 51 year old fat guy that has bought his share of just had to have cars. Not going down that road again. I will be leaving in a few hours for the trip I'll let you guys know how I make out.

PS.I read your road trip blog in stories last week (nice read)If I had read it when written I would have brought you down a starter drive I was in Southbury working on a friends boat that weekend.
