Mike,

Do you live anywhere near Meredith? My best friend has a weekend place out in the woods; about 15 miles from Lake Winnipesaukee. It is my favorite place on the planet. We used to go to the cabin for every motorcycle week until it got so commercialized we couldn't stand it anymore. Now, we don't even bother to go in June. When I can get up to New England as a leaf peeper we will go stay for a day or two in the fall, buy some maple syrup and leave the place like we found it. (My favorite bumper sticker of all time reads, "Welcome to New Hampshire. Now go home.")

I eventually got a starter that works from my friend Tyler. It is a joy to have the engine spin over with the starter every time again. Glad you enjoyed the trip report.
