I just use tie down straps, really tough, can't remember if I double them or triple, drill a couple of holes, put them in.. They are really jsut to stop the shocks from topping out as far as I can see. I agree that if they broke that easily they may have been too short and getting stretche dduring regular driving. Patrick.
