That sitting around rusting is a problem for a lot of us with too many cars. I've noticed the same spots, but they seem to polish out after a half dozen stoplights. I'm not familiar with cadmium plated rotors. Beside its potential for environmental harm, I thought cadmium was rather soft, even softer than iron, and would expect it to be worn off quickly by the pad's friction material in one clean stripe. Is this plating touted for performance, or for good looks behind alloy wheels?
