Hello,
Cheap fuel pumps are probably the chief cause of carb fires.
Most cheap replacement pumps do not use a good spring loaded check valves and that can overpower the float valve(s) and then dumps fuel onto the exhaust.
The current OEM Volvo replacement pump is a Pierberg and that is only new pump I will sell.
New spacer/thermal insualtor plates are now made of a composite material instead of the original plastic.
