Eric,

I've never owned a Volvo with carbs and a mechanical pump. A 72 144 d-jet was the oldest. I did see the Pierberg also listed at Advance Auto, besides the Beck Arnley. I didn't mention the Pierberg as the photo was kind of a "wierd looking" pump. Thanks to your enlightenment, I guess I now know why. Thanks for the insight.

I've been told that when you purchase a Beck Arnley part, you never really know what you're getting, as they're actually just a re-packager of parts from many different manufacturers, and that those manufacturers can change from time to time. Do you know if that's an accurate statement?
