Hi Eric: I did not mean to imply the distributor rotation was counter-clockwise, just the placement of the leads on the distributor cap. Maybe my use of the word was a bit misleading - pun intended!

Ignition leads (order of firing) are 1-3-4-2 counter-clockwise.



Regardless, the Bosch V JU 4 BR 20's rotation is clockwise, the firing order is expressed as 1-3-4-2, unless you live in the southern hemisphere where it would be expressed as 1-3-4-2 clockwise.
