I'm sure most and perhaps all of you are familiar with the IPD company that specializes in Volvo's and parts for them.
I was looking through their website looking for parts for the project I'm working on and came across a picture of the front of a 544 and beneath the picture a place to click for parts. The picture really caught my eye because it was the Volvo (now recoginized as the OKC Volvo) when it was about 3 years into the restoration. The grill surround was painted red (same as the car),and nerf bars I made from Stainless Steel tubing because I had not yet found a decent grill surround, or bumper. It was obviously my car.
I called and talked to them about finding out where they obtained the picture. They promised to get back to me, and they did exactly that-several times. They could not find where the picture came from, and offered to remove it from their site at once. I replied that they were welcome to use it, and that removal would accomplish nothing. I was very impressed with their reply to my questions. Tonight I received a confirmation of my "order" which I never made, and the total cost to me is $0. It is a few small items for a B18 engine, but the gesture was very large. I've ordered several items from them, and will continue.
I believe they are and honest Organization.
