Brett,

If you could find '56 Buick trim, you would want to sell it to the guy restoring a '56 Buick. It is getting pretty rare to find NOS anything for '56 cars.

If you've got a bead roller you could buy some stainless strip at the boat supply house, make some dies to roll the edges the way you want them, and bend it carefully to achieve the contour you want. Then you would have to make the spear tips; that would probably require a forming die and hammer work.

Sounds like a lot of expensive and time consuming work to me...
