Temporary exhaust pipe patch

My exhaust pipe broke in one spot. The rest of the pipe seems okay for the time being. I don't feel like buying new parts and installing them in the cold, and I'm broke anyway. So I used some leftover aluminium flashing and two screw-clamp-thingys and made this patch. So far it works - it feels strong and has quieted the exhaust rumble. We'll see if it holds through the winter.

Obviously I'll have to replace that pipe and the rear muffler soon. The front muffler also will need to be replaced. Hopefully this patch and the rest of the system will hold out until spring so I can replace everything from the cat on back when it's warmer.
