Rough runing 1990 740 at 1k

Johan, you said that there was no change in operation when you pull #4 plug only. Did you remove the plug or just the wire? If you did remove the plug and it is intact and clean, then you need to start fault tracing the #4 ignition circuit.

It's not that hard really, you just need to inspect the wire, distributor rotor, and cap. Replace or clean any part that is suspect.

If there is no faulty ignition part, you must then turn your attention to the other systems, Fuel injector and its electric connection, or the engine itself. (i.e compression test, intake system)
